The Bitch and The Asshole

So whilst my world of independence has crumbled before me in the past eight, long, tedious days – I will find some glimmer of light.

From an international driver failing to give way and therefore t-boning my car and writing it off to the dodgy ass car owner that’s failed to disclose significant structural defects with a car and is now withholding my deposit – I can honestly say I’m over 2017. I’d much rather rewind or simply hibernate for the following 10 months.

So as annoying as it is that the bitch dug my car into its grave, it’s also safe to say that paying that $25.00 for what is basically a background check on a car was the best money I’ve spent this year. To think that this car I was set to buy was missing airbags and was declared a write off only a handful of months ago is quite shocking, it would’ve increased my chances of injury on the most part, thus making this owner the asshole in my eye catching title.

So the car shopping journey continues and my lessons in driving a manual car begin – that’s right, I’m going to learn to use a clutch, everybody pray.

For the most part, I’m okay without a car. I can commute to university and work via the good ‘Ol toot toot train, however the locations in which my basketball life revolves around are more difficult to get to – since this new estate doesn’t have a bus route yet. So whilst my teammates provide me with long overdue lifts and my mother drives me around, I’ve come to truly notice just how much I depended on my vehicle.

So after five short years, I’ve said my goodbyes to my precious baby – you were good to me until the bitch didn’t give way.

R.I.P Baby

You were good to me.
